| Soundcard setup and calibration Been reading quite a bit on all the different types of hardware people are using trying to get an idea if REW will even work with what I have. I've got a Powermac G5 dual 2.0 PPC running OS 10.5.4 and REW v4.11 I have a MOTU 2408 mk3 interface that work flawlessly for my music recording stuff but when I'm having a time trying to calibrate it for REW.
I've been using the Defaults my card is set to 44.1k so I have REW set to 44.1 and the input and outputs set to default, partly because that's the only option (well there is Java audio for output and PCI-424 for input but those don't do anything). I loop the outputs of my 2408 to it's inputs and then go through the calibration. I've tried left and right channels (singly) and all I get is what sounds like a square wave (no 1k tone). I've tried nearly all combinations of selections but still can't figure it out. Any help appreciated.
