| REW Basics.. Firstly just wondering if my X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series soundcard has the input and output requirements for REW? I have a RS Analog meter that I want to connect with my Denon 3808 with 5.1....basically i just want to measure my subwoofer response...so I connect it to my receive AUX in and just play it as stereo? do i need to change my stereo settings accordingly...eg large/small settings, subwoofer crossover? Thanks | ||||

| Re: REW Basics.. Yes, your receiver should be set to stereo, with the main speakers set to small and the crososover engaged. The mains need to be shut off to measure the sub alone, so simply disconnect them with the power off. Most any soundcard with a line-in and line-out will work with REW. Hopefully, you've read the REW HELP FILES and the Connections Basics brucek | ||||
