| Is REW able to import test data collected by Sencore SP295C Hi there, I have a few questions about the REW and hope the experts here can help. 1) I am now using the Radio Shack SPL meter as the Mic and found it was not very accurate, especially in the high frequency portion. Are there any good solutions for this? 2) I just got a new Sencore SP295C sound analyzer and was wondering if REW could import test data collected by the SP295C. M | ||||

| Re: Is REW able to import test data collected by Sencore SP295C I don't know about 2, but for your first question, you should search the Mic's/SPL/Soundcard forum. There are lots of good discussions there regarding different mics. I use an ECM8000, but have had weird results in the top octave. Best to get it calibrated if you are looking for highly accurate results in that region. | ||||

| Re: Is REW able to import test data collected by Sencore SP295C Yeah, my problems were ~ 5kHz to 20kz, so top 2 octaves. It's a combination of things, one is direction the mic is pointed (head on, the diameter of the mic acts as a mini baffle). I think I came up with a decent solution without getting it calibrated (I used a known tweeter, measured, and offset my measurements for a poor-man's calibration). But when I get serious again, it's going to the calibrator. | ||||
