| What cable would I need What cable would I need if I have an m-audio mobile pre usb sound card, ecm8000 mic, and a DSP1124 so that I can download the REW calibration information directly to the feedback destroyer? I read in the REQ faq that a usb to midi cable could be used if using the built in sound card on a computer but I was wondering if the M-Audio Mobile Pre already has a midi out port. Thanks in advance | ||||

| Re: What cable would I need But is there something cheaper that can be used other than that $40 cable from amazon? I was wondering if the mobile pre already had a midi out port so that I could possibly get away with a cheaper cable or something. Last edited by gus6464; 10-27-08 at 02:59 AM.. | ||||

The cheapest route is to enter the filters by hand. It only takes seconds. I've never owned a midi cable myself. Not because of the cost, but because I can enter the filters before you could connect up the cable... brucek | |||||

| Re: What cable would I need The Mobile Pre does NOT have a MIDI out port. I have one and that's always been an issue. M-Audio sells a USB to MIDI converter (as do many others): But yeah, it's $40. I just fat finger in settings manually. A pain, but I only play around with the settings once every year or so. | ||||
