measurement from external sweep?

can rew or a similar program show responce from an external sweep?

Just wondering as i have an lp with a 20-20000hz sweep, be interesting to see what it looks like.

No, the signal generation and the timing of measuring that signal in the room is quite important to carrying out an accurate response.. REW contains its own multi-function signal generator.

yeah, thats what i figured. was just curious

the lp is still handy as it has some set tones that you can look at on a pc ossicliscope to set the speed of the turntable under cartridge drag
