Another Noob, just don't get it

Equipment: Toshiba laptop running Vista. Creative Labs usb external soundcard. Radio Shack SPL.

Connections: Left out to amp. Right out to right mic in. SPL out to left mic in. I could calibrate soundcard and SPL meter.

Followed Creative labs and Vista in help for setup.

First graph is attempt. Second graph is soundcard calibration. I tried reversing my inputs but that did not work. Thanks.

Disregard. I had the input set to mic not line. Now I can't get the out and in levels to match. Let me play with this some more.

You only need to connect one channel. For the loopback, right out to right line in. For measurements right out to receiver or amp, SPL meter to right line in.
