Re: Mic placement

Best to point the mic straight up. Measurement looks fine but best using the standard graph scalings to see it in context - 15 to 200Hz and 45 to 105dB, use the graph limits button in REW (right hand side of the toolbar, 2nd from right) to set the scales.

Re: Mic placement

Gotcha on the graph. Any suggestions on the peak between 30 & 40 hz? I have two Peerless XL12's with passive radiators. As seen in the pic. Tommy

Just use the "Add attachment option" when you write a post (scroll down and you'll see it)

Re: Mic placement

The image is too big. How do I down size from 2048x1536 to 1000x1200? For the mean time each sub is under the left and right front mains.

I'm not a computer geek ...what I always do is open the picture with paint and then re-size it, I'm sure it can be done with other programs; maybe you can post what you have in your computer and I'm sure somebody will guide you through

You need to repost the graph with the correct scale (45db-105db and 15Hz-200Hz) ...it will look different and you'll see exactly what dip/peaks you really have

When you click the floppy "save" icon (bottom left corner of the REW graph), it will ask you how big you want the picture. Enter "800" in the field; that's the largest size you can upload to our server.

Wayne
