| waterfall charts need input Hi everyone it's been a long time since I've posted here. decided to recheck my sub with new front speakers. just testing the sub and I get some strange results not like when I had the filters right. so now I'm starting from scratch. 1st post is sub only no filters 2nd is with filters applied. It looks better and worse at the same time so I'm alittle confused on what exactly I'm doing wrong this time. and help would be great. sub is a velodyne dls5000r. mains are not hooked up yet. | ||||

| Re: waterfall charts need input Twelve filters? I doubt that many are needed. Hard to tell for sure without seeing a regular response graph, but it looks like the filters aren't matching the peaks well. The 30-40 Hz ringing problem, it may be background noise from some extraneous source. Regards, Wayne | ||||

| Re: waterfall charts need input Hi Wayne thanks for the input I know that I shouldn't be 12 filters last time I did this I had 6 and it sounded great. I'll recheck it again going through the entire setup to make sure it's not the soundcard calibration. today the house is quiet for now so maybe it will be better. | ||||
