| First Post, First Graph! Hey folks, Spent a few hours this morning getting my arms around REW. I had been using TRueRTA for the last few years, but really wanted to dig into the power REW brings to the table. Anyway, here's my first graph. Not too bad actually. SVS PB12Plus, no EQ, X-over at 80Hz. Speakers are Ascend Acoustics CMT-340 (first gen) all around. Mic is an older RS analog meter using a calibration file I found on here. Soundcard is an external Soundblaster Live via USB to my laptop. Thoughts? My biggest concern is the nulls/dips as we get into the mains. I also have no idea how to use and interpret the other features yet. I'll get there. Last edited by cgardnerma; 02-01-09 at 11:05 AM.. | ||||

| Re: First Post, First Graph! Test the mains by themselves, as those dips are outside the major influence of the sub. Then move the mains around to try and smooth them out. brucek | ||||
