| Tascam 144 calibration Was wondering if anyone has a diagram or step by step way to hook this card up. I have tried various way to cable it. And each time i go step by step through the calibration setup but my plots look nothing like the calibration example when i finish. Not sure whether I have computer, 144 or rew settings incorrect. Guess a start would be cabling since i am not sure whether i have correct. | ||||

| Re: Tascam 144 calibration The first thing you have to do before anything is hooked up is a soundcard calibration. Remove all the cables and now connect a single cable from line-out RCA (Right) to line-in 1/4" TS unbalanced phone (Right). Put the MIC/LINE-GUITAR select switch to the MIC/LINE position. Dial the MON MIX control to fully clock-wise (over to the Computer) to avoid any of the input being looped back to the output. Run the soundcard calibration routine and use the Tascam controls to set the levels. brucek | ||||
