Can I set the measurement level to say 85dB for RT60 due to poor S/N

I´ve already asked several questions and I appreciate your prompt answer to all of them.

I will measure RT60 in a large classroom but I´m afraid the background noise might not be as low as I would like it to be. It might be around 50dB or a bit more.
If I play my measurement signal at say 85dB (and calibrate the system to that output level) I will increase my SN Ratio by 10dB. Will that be a reasonable approach to tackle high background noise levels? Will it have an effect on the measurements? Also thinking of doing 2 to 3 sweeps per measurement to cancel out the background noise when these are averaged.

I don't know about averaging the results in REW, but it looks like you could overlay them.

Dont really know if they are averaged. But I read a few sweeps per measurment increased the SNR because the measurement of the room is the same while the background noise changes.

Sure, raise the measurement level to get a better reading.

Yes, when doing sweep measurements, this is true. RTA is not a sweep measurement.
