I have been fussing with this sound card for days and I just cant get it set up right. Her is the response I get. On my creative console I have (lin-in,midi,cd player,microphone,digital in) all are on mute on the rec let to line-in and on the wave setting it's all the way up.

Can someone please help me with my set up

Looks like a good measurement. If you use the "Make Cal" button on the soundcard settings after doing the soundcard cal you should find you get a flat result.

I guess my concern is that its starting at 40hz shouldn't it start at 0 hz

It's down -3dB at 40Hz. Change the vertical Graph Axis to see the lower end that is hidden off the chart.
