| House Curve Question I recently picked up an Elemental Designs eQ.2 sub equalizer. I only had two major peaks in my response, so the eQ.2 (which only has two bands to eq with) was enough for me. I set it up last night, and pretty easily would up with a straight line house curve that is about 12dB up at 18hz from 80hz. I read from Wayne's article that he prefers to level off the curve below 30hz. I am almost afraid to mess with things, and let well enough alone and be thankful I am getting such a powerful response all the way down to 18hz. Any thoughts on messing with things to get the 30hz and below info flat? | ||||

| Re: House Curve Question The question is kinda moot since you don't have any other filters to play with that could change the shelving from 18 to 30 Hz. ![]() The article has a link to a thread where people are using (IIR) 25 and even 20 Hz shelving. They say it works for their tastes and their rooms. Regards, Wayne | ||||
