will my soundcard work with REW

Hello ,I`m trying to prep my self for when the BFD 1124P is delivered and when I can download REW , right now my PC is waiting to be repaired it has a bug that will not let me download anything and it`s memory is getting eaten alive , I have the Dell Dimension 2350 series PC ,I`m really PC ignorant and the only thing I can find as far as a soundcard is (integrated ADI 1885 audio and soundmax digital audio ) will this work with REW? , also what would be the best soundcard for windows XP home and REW ?)sorry if this is to vagi , Thank`s for any input

will this work with REW?

It would be unusual if it didn't work. All that is required is a line-in and a line-out jack. It has to be duplex and use WDM drivers, but that is assumed on an integrated card, so it will be fine.

To test it of course, you do a soundcard calibration by connecting a single mono loopback cable (with stereo to mono adapters).
