Dsp-1124p vs fbq-2496

Hey everyone.

Newbie question here. What is the general recommendation from everyone regarding these two options? Is one of them easier to use with REW?

Thanks for the help!
Shawn

Thanks Tim,

I don't think I went back far enough when I searched for the topic earlier.

I looked through both of those threads. I'm still not completely sure which one is right for me. At the time those threads were active, the DSP1124 had a firmware issue. My guess is that most of the units ready to ship now would have a later firmware build... so this shouldn't affect my decision.

Also, I'm only going to be using the unit for eq-ing my subwoofers.

Is the DSP1124 the right unit for me?

I'm completely okay with paying more for the FBQ unit though. I wouldn't want to 'miss out' on anything. But in this case, I might not be.

Thoughts?

Shawn
