EQ 2 subs using BFD - common, or separate filter sets??

Hi all. It's been a while, and I'm thinking it's time to re-eq the system and see if I can squeeze out a bit more bottom end.

I have a pair of HGS-12x subs in a non-symmetrical room with high ceilings, a BFD and RS meter. The subs are not co-located. Both subs are wired through the BFD on separate channels, and currently they're using a common filter set which was the result of measuring them together.

Is that the best way to do it? Or should I measure each sub separately and have unique BFD filters for each sub?

What's the best way to EQ these?

If this has been asked before, please point me to the right places.
Thanks!

Probably best to EQ them together with one set of filters.
