| Re: HP DV7 Laptop Mic It is possible to use it, but very much not recommended as the results can be very misleading. Mic inputs have heavily rolled off low frequency response as they are aimed at capturing voice, that roll off in the mic input will dominate the results making everything you measure look poor. Mic inputs also tend to be noisy. | ||||
