I'd also like to thank everyone here for their excellent advice and help. I finally got my BFD yesterday. Without REQW, the BFD guide, and a number of useful posts, using it would have been, well, a little challenging. With them, though, it wasn't bad at all. My wife did come downstairs at about 2 am to see what I was up to. When she found out, she said, "You're insane!", and went off to bed. While I'm sure that I have more testing/tweaking to do, the results so far have been outstanding. In particular I have a huge room node at 40hz, just taming it led to a much more musical response. I encourage anyone considering it to give it a try. It's the best $200 upgrade you can get if you have a sub! Thanks again!

This morning I played a few bass intensive scenes from The Fellowship of the Ring for my 8 year old daugher, Lauren. After a couple of clips, she pointed to the BFD and said, completely unprompted, "That new thing you got makes the movie seem more real!"

MY wife hates my sub. Three rooms away at the back of the house she still complains that the sub make here teeth chatter.

Just glad I am not there to hear that, I get enough of that as it is!!
