My results - what do you think?

Attached is a screen shot of my results. This is with a house curve applied at +8dB 20 to 0dB at 80hz, 80hz xo on the receiver.

I am very happy with how it came out and it sounds fantastic. I tried hard to get rid of the small peak at 68hz but no filters I could apply would have any affect. After a bit more digging I concluded that this peak is coming from my main speakers not the sub. Hopefully its minor enough not to cause any issue? Doesn't sound odd but who knows how much better it would sound without it.

Please let me know what you think and any suggestions for improvement are welcome!

Looks good. But as you say, the real deal is when you listen to it!

Out of interest, what do the graphs look like for the sub on its own and the mains on their own?

Did you get much difference in the final curve for different phase settings on your sub? Just curious as I am still wading through my EQ'ing!

Looks fine.

Please post your graphs with a vertical axis of 45dB to 105dB and a horizontal axis of 15Hz to 200Hz. This make everyone comparing the same graph...............

Would rather see the sub alone......

Thanks - will do with future graphs.

Certainly. I will remeasure and post. Why does it matter what the sub looks like alone? When it comes down to it, doesn't it really only matter what the sub and mains combine to put out in terms of total sound?

Re: My results - what do you think?

Also, sub alone may just help you answer the question you have around 68 hz???Or maybe mains alone will do that.

Does changing the phase on the sub do anything about that 68 peak??, or is it too far below the xover point for that trick to help.
