A Welcome Surprise

I've posted previous graphs of my sub and mains and my BFD using the previous REW. I have since moved into a different house so I set everything up again (SVS PCI 20-39 and HTD Level 3 bookshelves) and tried out the new REW version 4.00.

I received a pleasant surprise when I looked at the results.

First graph is my SVS PCI 20-39 alone, no BFD or any other equalization, no smoothing:

Next graph is sub plus left and right mains, no BFD or any other equalization, no smoothing:

Size: 47.2 KB

I decided to put my BFD away for now. I can plug directly into the sub now and avoid the input/output of the BFD.
I guess the results are valid only if my RS digital SPL meter and the newrsdigital.cal calibration file from this site are actually correct for each other but I'll take it as is for now.

Sonic nirvana! You need to find a way to duplicate that house and sell it all over the country! I know you’d have lots of buyers!

Regards,
Wayne
