| Soundcard Connections I'm just getting started with REW & have a simple question. The help file states: "Both of the soundcard output channels carry the test signal, one (typically the Right) must be connected to an input channel on your AV processor or to the input of your equaliser." And "The other input and output channels are not used." On this Forum there is a diagram showing the Right channel split & feeding both channels of a processor. Is it safe to presume that both L & R front spkrs should be driven, not just the Right channel? I'm guessing that only one cable to the processor is suggested in order reduce the number of cables needed and also to insure that the same signal is being fed to both channels. Mike | |||

| Re: Soundcard Connections You can use either method, if you're just testing the FR of the sub it wont make any difference. If you are testing the integration between the sub and the mains I would suggest using both channels. Personally I use the left and right outputs of my sound card rather than split one channel. | |||
