Lap Top Computer for REW

Can you guy's give me a recomendation for a Lap top Computer that can be purchased to use with the CM-140 and the REW program.

My understanding is that REW doesn’t take much computing power. Anything you get will do it. A few months ago I bought a used Compaq laptop that’s at least a few years old. I think it only has a Pentium III 1-gig processor with 256 RAM or something like that. Works just fine with REW and everything else I do. We typically recommend an outboard soundcard with REW, though.

The most commonly used cards are the Soundblaster MP3+, Soundblaster Live! 24-bit USB External and the M-Audio MobilePre-USB. The MP3+ seems to be discontinued and is getting a bit hard to find. However, I just found a couple of on-line vendors selling them for $20 or less, which is significantly less than I paid for mine about 6 months ago. The Soundblaster Live cost quite a bit more - it has a lot of features you don’t need for REW.
