| Making progress, continued help appreciated I installed the 1.4 firmware and fired up the BFD over the weekend. It wasn't too hard to figure out how to enable the MIDI port thanks to the info here. I was able to successfully download a set of filters and see the results. I still have some questions please; 1. I downloaded them to position 4 and then saved them as proscribed. The red lights kept flashing after pressing the store button twice. Is this normal? 2. Will saving them to position 4 reload them automatically upon power up? If not, where/how (position 10?) 3. After downloading an intial set of filters, I took a new reading and found more peaks that I would like to filter out manually. Do I save them to a new position, or do I simply remember what they were and add them manually to the previous filter set before downloading them to the BFD? 4. Only one set of filters runs at a time, right? What I did (and I'm sure it was wrong), was to install a 2nd set of filters, manually added to REW and then downloaded, to position 5. It appeared to work as I now have a really nice response curve, but I'm sure it'll disappear when rebooted. Thanks again! | ||||

| Re: Making progress, continued help appreciated Thanks Bruce. Follow on question. If only one set of filters (a program) loads at a time, and you can save a set of filters to each position, how does BFD choose which program to load at startup? | ||||

brucek Why are you shutting down the BFD. It draws about the same current as a night lite... | |||||
