| SPL Meter panel clarification setting OK, I've got REW, RS meter, soundcard and a new DSP1124P V1.4 all hooked up an going, picking up a usb to midi cable today. I am using the RS meter with the downloaded .cal file. When using the SPL Meter panel do I set the adjustable value to my RS meter reading or the reading from the SPL Meter panel displayed? | |||

| Re: SPL Meter panel clarification setting OK, that's how I interpreted the help file. But, isn't the RS meter reading inaccurate because it is uncompensated? Wouldn't the RS meter mic and cal file display a more accurate reading of the SPL in the room? | |||

Once you start measuring with a sweep while using a calibration file, the response will be quite accurate. If the entire wholesale level across the range is 0.5dB low, it doesn't really matter. brucek | ||||
