Different readings from different computers...

Hi All,
I had a SB live external drive with a friends old laptop that had XP on it. I bought a new XFi external soundcard and am using my own laptop with Vista on it. I took some measurements and everything seems to be working fine but the graphs aren't the same as I took on the older laptop. I will say that the older laptop was a relic and really slow. Just wondering if the slow processing can affect the readings or maybe the new soundcard is different......

Any ideas?

No, as long as you calibrated the soundcards and setup REW correctly, there will be no difference.
Sometimes small positional changes in the measuring microphone can have a large effect.
