| Moving from REW 3.x to 4.0 gold Hi All - I used REW several months ago and got my sub sounding fantastic. Finally content, I haven't played around with REW at all in quite some time. Now I am seriously considering replacing my Yamaha 6090 with the Onkyo 805, and I know this means I will need to redo my sub eq. With this in mind I started looking at what REW is available now. Looks like there is a 4.0 gold and I'm pretty sure the last version I used was 3.x. I looked around but could not find details on what's new in REW 4.0. Is there a post somewhere that describes what fixes and new features it offers? Also how does one upgrade? Do we need to uninstall 3.x first or just install 4.0? Will it import my old settings such as house curve, calibration files etc? Thanks! | |||

| Re: Moving from REW 3.x to 4.0 gold Just go to the download forum and download the new version and install over the old one. It replaces the old exe, but doesn't affect your files, etc. brucek | |||
