snafu

Hello folks

I just installed REW on my free laptop the other day. Now Im trying to set her up and ran into a snag. I was going to buy the external sound blaster card, but until I do I was going to see if I even had to and try the sound card in the laptop first. Well I was trying to calibrate the sound card and this is what I keep getting as a result.



What do you make of this? heh

My laptop is a compaq armada 500, 800mhz, 512ram.

Looks like you're attempting to use a microphone input rather than a line-in connection. They're not suitable. You need an external soundcard with a line-in and line-out jack..
