Odd REW question

Hello. I have my BFD, I now have all my cables, my trusty RS SPL meter and I salvaged my old computer from the garage and loaded REW... Father's Day is set to be calibration day! Here is my problem. My old computer is HUGE w/ a 21" CRT monitor! Can I set my computer up in my workshop and run the cables the 25' (I bought long ones) to my listening postition without any problems? From my reading it seems the REW would do its thing automatically, or do I need to have the computer out in my HT and run it from my primary listening position (very low WAF). Please advise. Thanks!!

Re: Odd REW question

It would be better to have the computer in the room so you can tell and hear what's going on. I think it's gonna get complicated trying to do it and not be there in the room. It shouldn't take you long.

Can you hook your computer up to your TV? That worked well for me.
