RS Digital SPL meter line out NOT C-weighted?

I came across a thread that Ilkka posted on AVS a while back where he commented that the line out signal from the Radio Shack Digital SPL meter is not C-weighted even with C-weighting is selected.

Can anyone confirm or deny? I'm just trying to figure out if I've got it set up right with REW. I loaded the .cal file I got from the downloads section here on the Shack and I checked the "C-weighted" box in REW.

OK, I think I have my answer... which is REW only applies C-weighting to ranges not covered by the calibration file. For minute there, I thought I had done it wrong and was out.
