Yeah, looks like it has stereo analog line-in and stereo analog line-out that is required for REW, so it should be fine. Be sure to turn off all the wacky soundfields and effects and use simple analog line-in and line-out and you'll be fine.

Would there be any problem using SPDIF out and anoalog in? It would seem to me that most people would use the digital out to go to their receivers, it would almost make sense to calibrate using the output they would most likely use.

Or, is the problem that we can only calibrate the soundcard through the analog in/out and not through the digital out and analog in? Thanks.

REW is simply a tool used to determine the best filters for a subwoofer equalizer. The only way to accurately eliminate response inadequacies of the soundcard used in that tool is to do a soundcard calibration with the analog line-out connected to the analog line-in. The inputs you normally use for your sources have very little impact on REW...
