| what am I missing for impulse responce? This is going to be one of those dumb questions. I知 sure the help files tell how to do this and I知 just not comprehending it. I知 trying to do an impulse response with rew and I知 missing something. Shouldn稚 the sweep produce that loud click noise? Is there a pull down menu option that I知 not turning on to get this measurement? | ||||

| Re: what am I missing for impulse responce? Impulses are not used directly to measure the response, mainly because it is hard to generate them (in very large venues small cannons or starting pistols are used, but they are exceptions). The impulse response is derived from the system's transfer function, which is determined from the system's response to the sweep. | ||||
