| I want to try this high tech gadgetry, but... My soundcard only has optical ins and outs. There is a proprietary connector that is used with the manufacturers headphones and apparently supports discreet analog outputs, but it doesn't have any analog inputs that I know of. My question is whether I could use the onboard sound on my mobo. It has separate ins and outs, but sounded like when I was using it to output to my receiver. Plus I'd have to go through the task of disabling my sound card and whatnot. But if it means I wouldn't have to buy a different card for this one purpose, I wouldn't have a problem. Thanks guys. ![]() | ||||
