| Manual graph PB13-Ultra plus mains This is my first attempt at using the REW program. I took my measurements with the Radio Shack digital SPL meter ( C weighted fast) on a tripod at the listening postion. Measurements were made in 1 Hz increments from 10-109 Hz with the Real Traps tones burned onto a disc. Target volume was 75 dB. The data was typed into the computer and saved as a comma delimted file. Overall I think it looks pretty good really. This is the sub plus mains, with no room treatments. The crossover is set at 50 hz(although the graph is actually set a 80 Hz). It sounds quite good. The Ultra is a great sub! THis is 15Hz tuning Let me know what you think. system Last edited by croseiv; 03-05-08 at 07:50 PM. Reason: Added 15 Hz tuning | |||

Nice looking room you have there. You might want to visit our Design and Construction Forum. I’ll bet someone can give you some tips on getting that subwoofer cable under the carpet. ![]() ![]() Regards, Wayne | ||||

| Re: Manual graph PB13-Ultra plus mains A couple of things worth mentioning. I went ahead and used some data I already had logged (before I discovered REW). I really like how it will allow a user to import data. As far as the wire exposure- this position is sort of experimental, as the sub is newish (a little over a month old ). I used to have the sub off to the right in the picture. This current postion may end up being the permanent one. So I may end up "hiding" the wire behind white plastic covers. I have a plan....![]() As for the sub's level. I have it calibrated to 75 db matching my mains with Avia II. It seems to sound good this way, although I do boost the level a bit for music, but that's because I like more bass impact for music than movies. It shakes the house with movies as is with the receiver set to 0 for the sub (+5 dB for music). | |||

| Re: Manual graph PB13-Ultra plus mains Here is a corrected graph. I noticed the one I posted before had incorrect trace offset and roll off. I will try running the REW program and see how it compares to my manual data. | |||
