Samsung Intermittent Blue Screen

Hi All,

I have a Samsung DLP 50" connected to Comcast Cable. The set is about a year and a half old. I have replaced the lamp about 6-8 months ago and last month replaced the color wheel which shattered into pieces.

My latest problem is that, intermittenly, the screen goes completely blue for a few seconds then comes back and all is good. This use to happen a few times per day but now its multiple times per hour.

Any ideas?

Post the model number. Does it happen on all inputs?

I get the model number. However I have not tried different inputs, good point. I'll give that a try.

If you're lucky is just the OTA signal ... when programmed, you can get a blue screen if the signal is not strong enough (same thing happens with mine HLS6767)

Thanks a bunch! I tried a different set of inputs and all is perfect! I really appreciate the advise and glad I don't have to buy a new TV.

What was the problem??? ... How did you fix it???

The "fix" was using a different set of input ports. I only need one set so I really don't know what causes my intermittent blue screen on Input 1. When I switched to Input 2 the problem is gone so I'll go with it.
