Unhappy Replaced Dig board on my Samsung 6167 DLP TV, now the inputs do not work.

Hello everybody, I am brand new to this forum and hope somebody can help me out. I have a Samsung HLR6167WX DLP TV. From the many posts I have read it sure sounded like I needed a new digital board for my TV. (Green fuzzy screen, power randomly cycling) I purchased the very expensive Digital board from Samsung, Part number BP94-01859. After installation the TV does not recognize any of the inputs, HDMI, A/V in, component in, back panel, side panel, nothing.
I reinstalled the old board and all the inputs worked fine, except being green and fuzzy. I reinstalled the new board and same thing, no inputs working. I went into the service menu and I was able to pull up the test pattern screens - OK, All the values were within the service manual specs, in the CCA Submenu on item "Move HDMI" I turned that on and the picture came up on screen without sound. But after pressing "Source" on the remote, the picture went away.

What am I missing?
Do I need to do a software update or clear the EEProm? I cannot figure it out.....

I would appreciate any help I can get.
thank you,

I think you'll have better luck with this question in our Service area, under Samsung... I'll move your post there:

Don't worry... nothing new here, I've already made that mistake. Trust me.

Could be the wrong board or a defective board. I would contact Samsung since you bought it from them.

Looking for me, just google my username. I have used the same one for most sites for many years.

I was told by Samsung that they do not make the original 0158F board anymore. I called Samsung to try to return the board, but being Samsung, they do not allow returns on boards.

Just an FYI the HDMI is built into the digital board. If that input isn't working I would say its a bad board. Samsungparts.com will take back bad boards but they will ship you a replacement. They give you 30 days to contact them if they are under their 30 day warranty.
