sony KP53XBR45

i have a convergence problem i think i got the tv from a friend he said it dont work well i took it home and he was right i didnt work so i opened it up and the both fuses on the d board are blown so i replaced them and it now turns on BUT now the screen is all out of alignment on the sides and it flickers so bad you almost cant see anything so i am planingon changing the ic stk 392-010 to the new STK392-040, IC, Sanyo hoping this will fix it but i was wondering if you think it might be some thing els be for i go buy the new parts or if you have some thing i could try be for i do more work any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Please read the convergence repair sticky (the first ten posts) very carefully, purchase your parts from one of the known reliable suppliers recommended, and use proper grammar and punctuation to make your posts easier to understand.

Some problems begin with bad solder connections, so you may want to check for this first. Also be careful not to miss any open or damaged resistors. The convergence repair thread goes into much detail on these matters.
