SoundSplinter RL-p18 Giveaway Qualification Thread

It's time for another SoundSplinter Giveaway!

Yep... that's right... SoundSplinter and the Shack are giving away TWO RL-p18 drivers to TWO lucky winners! That means you have two chances to win! (Only one driver per winning member!)

Your choice of voice coil configuration (dual 2 or 4 ohm upon availability).

Winners will be responsible for shipping!

This giveaway will run from April 1, 2007 through June 30th, 2007. Drawing will be held in July 2007.

The qualifications will be a little bit different than normal... so please pay particular attention to what you must do to qualify.

Qualification is content driven and fairly simple...

• You must have a minimum of thirty (30) new posts between April 1, 2007 and June 30, 2007. You will be disqualified for post padding!
• You must start a minimum of seven (7) new threads in the Home Theater | Audio and Video and/or Speakers and Subwoofers areas between April 1, 2007 and June 30, 2007.
• In addition you must have your equipment listed in the Home Theater Equipment forum.
• And here's the kicker! You must complete at least one (1) new movie review (DVD or Box Office) in the Movies | TV Shows | Hollywood forum between April 1, 2007 and June 30, 2007.
• Once you have qualified by completing the above, you will need to post in this thread notifying us you want to be entered in the giveaway.
• Winners agree to create a new thread with their RL-p18 DIY project and a review of the RL-p18 driver, both exclusive to Home Theater Shack, posted in the SoundSplinter forum.

Qualifications are subject to change without notice.

NOTE: If you are located outside the U.S. you may participate in the giveaway, but you will be responsible for what will most likely be an astronomical shipping cost, duty taxes, customs fees, etc. If you win, you must agree to pay the shipping cost up front, take delivery and ultimately comply with all the rules above, including the exclusive project thread and review. If you do not agree to these requirements, you will forfeit your winnings and another draw will be made for another winner.

So long as you are willing to handle the shipping expense - which would be around US$ 190 (in addition to local customs duty/TAX), I don't have a problem with it. But hey, it is Sonnie's board, he's got final say! Good luck

I have no problem with it, but you must agree to create a new thread with your RL-p18 DIY project and a review of the RL-p18 driver, both exclusive to Home Theater Shack, posted in the SoundSplinter forum. This means you must pay for the shipping in advance or forfeit the driver to someone else via the drawing.

Sure thing guys. If I win, I'll buy another three of the same drivers to use in an IB setup -- you've probably seen my computer renderings of the proposed HT room on the forum already.

Postage is always a killer to Aust, but winning one of these would offset the cost. Cheers!
