Distance from rear of magnet to cabinet...

I have a special application where I have very low clearance behind the magnet. The RL-P 12 might fit the bill, but I need to know what the clearance requirement is. The vented pole piece concerns me, I want to make sure there is enough cooling. This is a vented enclosure.

Does anyone know how close I can put the speaker to the back wall?

Paul

I'm not sure how the RL-Ps would differ, but on the TC sounds website their mounting depths include 0.8" for rear pole piece venting. If you went with the same you'd probably have sufficient space for venting.

You can see it in italics below the dimensions table for the TC 2000 here.

If you have to make a tight fit, I would say an inch would be enuff.

An inch is definitely enough, you could even get away with a half inch!
