Building Sonotube w/ RL-P D4 15inch

Hello all. I am trying to figure out the diameter and height of the Sonotube and the length of the 6 inch port but I have no speaker software. Steve modeled it for someone that had the D2. This will be for HT only and I would like it to go down as low as possible. I have no test equipment so whatever you say I need I'll go with that. Thank you.

There's a free program to help you with that called WinISD which you can google.

Yes... WinISD has free version you can use... but I'm not sure if that will be all you'll need. Maybe Steve or one of the other guys can chime in and help you out.

If you new to winISD i suggest you get the beta version first b/c the alpha version is a little more complicated and i had some trouble with it at first when i tried it. heres the link to the beta download http://www.linearteam.dk/default.aspx?pageid=winisd

Don't use WinISD beta; it's not very accurate. Try WinISD Pro alpha, and if you can't get that to work, or don't like it, use UniBox.

It's like, how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black.

Another forum member Chasw98 built one with the D4. He went with - 20" diameter X 54" Tall (approx 9 cu ft net volume) Heres his design thread....... http://www.htguide.com/forum/showthread.php4?t=17629

Here's a link to a sonotube calculator, from Collo's subwoofer page.
