RLi 8’s in stock?

Can anyone from SS give me a rough estimate on when the RLi 8’s when been in stock? Thanks.

Any estimate is going to be rough at this point. I have had some serious supply problems with our baskets on this product, and to compound that matter, my manufacturer is going to be closing down their current facility and relocating early in the new year. My most sincere apologies for these ongoing delays. Up until two weeks ago, I was not aware that my manufacturer would be going through such a major restructuring and had only been told that the delayed baskets were the bottleneck holding up the progress. Now that I understand the scope and intricity of the delay, I recognize that February will be the absolute earliest that these drivers will again be available, as that will be the earliest time to expect the new manufacturing facility to be up and running.

It was not my intent to mislead as I wish to be as forthcoming as possible, but I do feel bad about having had to consistently revise and lengthen my availability estimate on this product. Unfortunately, I simply did not have access to the information necessary to make an accurate estimate. Nevertheless, if you would like to be kept on a waitlist for this product, just shoot me a PM with your email address and I'll be sure to drop you a line as soon as they are ready to roll out. Thanks for the reply. Right now I am on the hunt for a little 8 for a little project I have in my head so the other sizes would not work. Sometimes thing are just out of people control and we do the best we can. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season also.

Hey Mike i have had a look at the thread on SSA but i was wondering if there was any news on those driver

If/when there back in stock ill PM you because i love to get a few shipped down under depending on the shipping cost, I have been told no 'large' speakers but i have a feeling these little beauties will work a treat

I know that the wait has been long and arduous and I do apologize. Unfortunately, my hands are tied until my supplier works through some legal matters that must be tended to before they can resume production. I do not wish to go into details, as aside from having to wait for product, this is a private matter concerning my supplier and does not directly involve SoundSplinter. Nevertheless, I maintain full confidence that my drivers will be produced in time. I may have some 8" solutions available in the very near future to satisfy immediate demand - and while they won't be the RL-i8 exactly, they will be of comparable quality and performance capability.

As an aside to explain why it took me so long to get to this thread, I had to take my grandmother to the emergency room little more than one week ago. Being the only relative still living in this area, I have been preoccupied. At 87 years she had to have a pacemaker installed to maintain her heartbeat (which was at 29 bpm when I first found her in distress two Sunday's ago). She's now back at home and recovering from the fairly common surgury, so it looks like she'll be kickin' for a while longer! =]
