| Help me pick a sub plz Hi, I am a complete newb to everything. I got an sx650 amp by kicker, it sounds like it prolly puts out arround 750rms of true power. It pushed 800rms audiopipe no problem cranked 3/4 way. I am driving arround in 01 intrepid so I got a real big trunk and never put anything in it. I am more into quality before quantity but my budget is low so I am looking for that good bang for the buck. Willing to spend arround 300$ but wish I could spend half that money and still get something descent. I listen only to rap music so im guessing i would need the lowest tuned box and sub to go with it. I don't like to show off the bass. I just want something that will boom the most at the lowest frequency. I am willing to sacrifice all my trunk space but it wopuld be probably a little tough to fit a huuge box in there even though i got a big car because if i pop the back seats theres a smaller fit only 14inches. So if i want to fit a higher box i would have to put it in through the trunk... I was thinking to put a 12 inch sub because it would fit perfectly in the more narrow spot of near the seats and pump right through the back seats. But if its an 18 i dont really care I can fit that in prolly too.. I got a small amp and a low budget as you already guessed im a student. Please can you help me pick the right sub and the box to go with it. Thanks, all the replys are sooo greately appreciated. | |||

| Re: Help me pick a sub plz Someone may be able to help, but this is a home theater forum, so it's hard to say how much car audio experience there is around. If you're looking for info on Sound Splinter in car audio applications, you might want to try their forum at sound solutions audio. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/f...p?showforum=41 | |||
