Price for RP-L15s

What is a good selling price for used Soundsplinter 15s? (Dual 4 Ohm) Thanks!

SoundSplinter will tell you that the price should be a large percentage of the new price, because the drivers are extremely durable and reliable.

That's probably true. But you may have to hold out for a while at your price (assuming you are the seller) to get it. They don't come up used very often, that's for sure. Someone will have the bug and happily take them from you at a discounted price.

Hmmm. Okay, I'm trying to decide whether to sell the 4 I have in the enclosures I built for them or just sell them by themselves. They are listed as $310 each on Soundsplinter's website. Do you think I could get $250 for them?

I won't speculate on the used price, as I kind of like the way Chris in Dallas put it already!

But if you're in a well populated area, you may want to advertise in your local classifieds and try to unload the complete system. If you can let them hear it first hand, they'll probably realize that they're not going to find anything like it in a conventional electronics store... and if they don't have a mind for DIY, should be willing to pay you a pretty penny for a nicely finished product, all ready to go.

I would second Mike's advice. Folks, especially folks with money, will pay a premium for the convenience of a finished product. And yes, let them "hear" it.

Just looked at your cl ad. If that includes two Behringer amps, as your ad suggests, that is a really, really good price. Really good.

That price is just for one amp and two drivers plus the enclosure. I have two of these to sell. Even with that, they are great deal, IMO. The moderators deleted the post that had the link that Chris is referring to. If anyone wants more information please PM me. I apologize to the moderators. I was not coming here trying to sell anything to the forum members, I was just looking for information.

You are right, it is still a good deal. You really should post pictures of the finished product in your ad, though (and take another read through it for typos).
