The SVS PB10-NSD has an identical performance with the PB10-ISD (according to SVS), so I don't think I need to test it again.

Epik and ED are not getting tested are they?

Not sure if you knew but Illka is in Finland. ED and Epik are not available there. Epik doesn't have 220v amplifiers and ED does but I'm sure that the shipping on an A7-900 or A7-450 is going to be outrageous. It would be great to see them tested, but there are plenty of other good subs out there.

I know hes in Finland and I know it'd be hard for him to get it. Just saying, tests are not too relevant for us americans when you take 2 best subwoofer brands out of the picture. There are plenty of other good subs out there but none as good as Epik or eD among commercial subs.

Why should the exclusion of two brands of subs make the objective testing of the others illrelevant? Your last statement is purely your opinion.....I'll leave it at that.

If its an opinion, its not only mine. It's more like an obvious observation, if one follows the scene closely and for a long time.

so basically what you are saying is:

eD and Epik are the best, but you need ilkka to test them to prove they are the best?

chicken and egg?

although I'd love for Ilkka to test the eD A7-450 and find out how loud they really go before the drivers self destruct, you have put on some horse blinders there.

how about you try the other brands before you conclude.

and to your question about the A7-450 vs. PB13 Ultra? PB13 Ultra hands down wins.

The new Sunfire HRS line has been getting a lot of buzz lately. Maybe test the top sub in the line which is the HRS-12.

Re: Which subwoofers would you like to see being tested?

would be nice to see some vintage 15" subwoofers (amplified) tested and compared to anything new or old, I have a fairly large listening area and probably need something big and powerful to fullfill my listening pleasure
