Greetings all! I have to admit that I have been slacking again in relation to posting here. We are currently at peak season at work and are basically stupidly busy every single day. Big festival in town starting tomorrow and so the chaos will continue, should be the busiest week of the year. Between work and looking after my better half's puppy and kitten I just do not seem to have too much free time! Not even getting to listen to some of the music that came a couple of weeks ago, will need to rectify the situation as have since ordered a few movies as well.

Hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying what they are doing. Here is a pic of Sani, a staffi taken when she was about twelve weeks old.

Booom tish!!!

I'm in for the word game.

What do we start with other than a waitress in a resturant wearing Amana?

Good morning!

Time to do some yard work. Or maybe I should call it land work since it's so much more than just a yard.

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

Juli and I went up to Savannah, GA for the last four days, so I have not been doing much more than monitoring the forums. We took the first vacation w/o the kids since they were born, celebrating our tenth anniversary. Very interesting city. Had some surprisingly great food there. Sort of like a cleaner, smaller, version of New Orleans without the extensive music scene. Very nice trip for someone interested in historic places.

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

How ironic... we were just talking about Savannah tonight over dinner. Angibug and I have been there once about 20 years ago and loved it. We were talking about going back real soon. We had almost forgotten about it.

What all did you guys do/visit, etc.?

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

We mostly relaxed, walked round the shops, ate, went to the beach, took it easy. We stayed at the Staybridge Inn, on Bay St. It was a bit of a dissapointment but was relatively inexpensive for a place a block away from the river. We drove up to Hilton Head one day just because we had never been there. I was a little surprised at the quality and ecclectic nature of the food. My standards are pretty high, and I found some of it quite excellent. There was a place on the same block as the hotel called B. Matthews that was the best.

Sounds like fun... our favorite thing to do on trips like that is to eat... eat and eat more...

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

Vacation? What's that? We missed our opportunity so I don't guess there will be any vacation for me this year. We might get a shot to go to the mountains in October or November for a few days, but I'd rather have went for a week at least.

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

hello everyone, I am back!!!

Whooaaa, what a week. Life at work just seems to be getting ridiculously silly. Well behind in our quota's, budget and material supplies . Still I have some very good workers keeping me out of trouble. Hows everyone going, I notice its getting very quiet in here of late. I wanted to play the word game but wasn't sure which one we started and what the next word should be .

Oh well If it helps we can start with this word:

REBEL

And see what happens.

Cheeers all,

Drf

Good day and it is Friday again...

Good to have you back! We did miss you

So what are we doing with that word REBEL. The first thing that came to my mind was James Dean, Rebel Without a Cause.
