Edit: Double Trouble a.k.a Igor and Sani

They may look innocent but looks can be deceiving. (for some reason every time I try and upload a pic I get an error message, will try again later or tomorrow, for now you will just have to rely on imagination)

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

Googling confirmed my suspicion (I googled RWC rugby), although I can't work out exactely what it was that lead to to think rugby.

Oh well, time for sleep for me.

Some folks just ain't got it all up top... or maybe they've had a bit too much to sip on (or toke on ).

A "discourse" is a very serious writing/paper, generally a discussion of something serious between two people.

I am page 67 at the moment, but I have taken a break. I have to go back and proof read it again, but I believe I have pretty much finished. Of course when proof reading it seems I always think of other things to add.

Flip pic???

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

If I ever get the pic up there then it will be closer to cute than funny, sorry! I did however get a chuckle out of the following text that my aunt sent me:

[i][Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him.

(Oh, man, this is so bad, it's good) . . .

A super-calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis./I]

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

Hello everyone . I like the new forum layout and options. For what its worth I like the new zero tolerance rule. It just adds a little support/weight to the already extremely pleasant environment that has been nutured here. It certaihnly has become one of my favorites sites on the net. Well my weekend is half over but I have had the pleasure of being able to purchase some more *cough* off topic gear *cough cough*. If I get the time after I have finished renovating my kitchen I will start a thread in the approppraite section.

I week from start to almost (99%) finish.

The new one is a little messy but you get the idea.

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

welcome back Bori5. I think we always were PC, it just not a prevalent feature. But it does help make this one of the best sites as no-one is offended while trying to learn about HT. It also helps to be able to voice an opinion without being flamed for it.

work wasn't that cruel I hope?

Thank you. I only just finished of plumbing up the cooktop tonight so I can finally cook some real food rather than microwave stuff all the time. I might be thinking a big fry up this weekend coming.

You know that feeling you get when you've been on a great two week vacation -- in a remote cabin in Montana -- where all you do is:
  1. Sleep
  2. Read
  3. Eat
  4. Fish (Fly fish that is)
  5. Watch a movie (from a cheapie projector, projected on a sheet hanging outside)
  6. Repeat

..then, you're back at work the first day... yeah, that's what I feel like right now.

Sigh. I so wish I were retired.

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

Hehe! I know that feeling!

I've got a change in my work routine as well coming up. I' getting home office access, so I can work from home if I choose.

So my plan is to occationally 'work' from home, watch a movie and do all the alone stuff I feel I need to do when the kids are at school. Play as loud as I want, watch scary movies and such when noone is around, then when they come home I can spend time with them with good concience, and then do the lost hours at night when the kids are in bed and I can't play loud anyway. That way I get to enjoy my system like it's supposed to, my kids will see daddy more, and I'll be more relaxed when they do, and I get to fill my evenings with something other than wanting to play louder in the theater.... Perfect plan!

My DIY build Status: Almost done.

Re: The SWAMP! - Volume One

sounds like a great plan right up until you run into a problem with work and can't resolve it until the next morning when there is someone in the office. Then you can say goodbye to a days work. I would love to be able to work from home but they won't let me take 14 caravans home each night .
