Re: Test

Save it to your desktop. Verify it works. Upload the video to Image Shack. Post a link here. Unless somebody knows of an easier way.

Re: Test

You could post it on you tube and then post a link here. It will actually show the video screen within your post here.

Re: Test

I can't post or upload anywhere. At least I can't figure out how to.........
It's just an attachment that is a link, but the link doesn't take you anywhere. It opens your default player and starts to play.

I've checked page source, and right clicked on it and tried everything in the list of options. I've run out of ideas........

Can you tell me how to do what y'all are suggesting?
Thanks.

Re: Test

If it is an attachment, you should be able to right click it and save it to your desktop... or save it anywhere on your computer where you can remember where it is.

Or, try right clicking and see if you have a copy link location option... then paste it here.

If you right click on the attachment link... what are all of your options?

Re: Test

When I save it to the desktop, it becomes a notepad file. You open that, and it's a long page of jibberish.

"Copy link location" doesn't seem to do anything.
"Send link" wants to open Outlook Express (which I don't use), and email it to someone.
"Save as a bookmark", puts it in my bookmarks, but when clicked on, opens default player again.

I forget how I got address info, but when I posted that as a link, it said "Page not found". When I posted it NOT as a link, and then copied and pasted the address in the browser's address bar, It wanted to open my default player again. I'll post the address again, and you can copy and paste it in your browser's address bar, and see what happens. If it opens for you, the audio is bad, but understandable, if you turn the volume up. The video is an amazing blind kid...........

Re: Test

AOL was your problem. If you were using Mozilla Thunderbird mail client or even Outlook Express, you could have selected Copy Link Location and pasted it here and it would show just like it does above.

Re: Test

I don't use AOL's isp (I don't like AOL). I had a netscape.net mail account. AIM (AOL) bought them out. They said I could still use the email address as netscape.net, because they knew how much trouble it would be to notify everybody, of a change of address. I kept using it, because of that.

I like the web based email, because even if you change isp's, your email address stays the same, and I can access it from any computer. I also have a Hotmail account. I use that address, when I think I'll get spam, from whatever site I give the address to. Works out pretty good that way.
