Toshiba RPTV 50A61 No Picture No sound

Need service manual and/or circuit diagrams for 50A61.
Just starting on this one. Only thing that happens when turned on--is a red LED light on the front.
No sound, No picture. Also, suspect no HV to crt's.
Need to check some voltage points--diagram would help. Will post further, but any "first check" suggestions would be appreciated. Input fuse OK.

There are a number of suggested sources for manuals, some free and some for a fee, in the stickies in the DIY Repair forum and in the Vendor Listings.

Check the fuses in the secondary of the power supply.

Re: Toshiba RPTV 50A61 No Picture No sound

OK, I found a free download of the service manual and of the circuit diagrams. Checked out all the low voltages in the power supply area. All are ok and all fuses are good.
Unit turns on and a red led lights on front--with all low voltages OK. But there is no high voltage for CRT's and no tube glow. After a few minutes, the unit turns off. I have not as yet fed any inputs to the unit, so do not know if sound is working. But, on turn on, a slight bump can be heard from the speakers.
Need some tips on first things to check next to determine why there is no high voltage.
Links or references to such information will also be appreciated--like the great 10 or 12 tutorial on RPTV convergence repairs.
Bob

PS: I'll find the site where the service manual--and many others--are available, and will cite in my next post here.

Check for horizontal and vertical deflection if you know how and have the equipment. I believe vertical output failure shuts down the output.
