| Hello from Petersburg Va Hello to everyone. I just joined today; however been lurking around for a while. I figured it was about time to join the fun. Anyway, a little about myself. My wife and I live in a historic home in Petersburg Va. About 18 months ago I decided to turn our English basement into a theater, without her finding out about it until it was done. Needless to say that did not happen. When she saw the are box with the projector in it to secret was out. Once I finished it, she fell in love with it. Jump forward to now, we are re-building a 1760's house next door to us and will be moving into it upon completion. We decided that this would be the last place we live until we retire, so we are building it with no expenses being spared, at least for the new theater. The new theater equipment has been purchase and is temporiarly set up in the old theater. It consists of the following equipment: Receiver Denon AVR 3808CI Center Amp Sony TA N333ES Main Amp Sony TA N80ES Rear Amp Sony TA N80ES DVD Denon DVD 3000 Projector Sony VPL VW50 Main and Surround Speakers Mirage Omnisat 2nd Mains NHT SW1V Center Mirage Sub Velodyne DLS-5000R Wholehouse system Processor Speakercraft MZC 66 Music Server Jukebox 4 SpeakerCraft Tuner Speakercraft mode 3.1 controllers X 6 Monster Cable HTS 2600 X 2 Xbox 360 Wii Directv I have spent the last 4 days running wire throughout the new house and have another day to go. Both my wife and I are Wardens for the Va Dept of corrections and have 2 kids. We have very little time to do anything but go to work come home and sleep. This is keeping me focused and when I am done with this, I have a 1972 MGB GT to finish restoring. | |||
