Yep, just another newbie

Hi Folks,
Ben here from Melbourne, Australia.

I was drawn here mostly for the EQ'ing software, being primarily interested in live audio and music creation. Having looked at a few threads here and there it would seem that there are a few of you that are of similar bent to myself, which is reassuring.

I was originally looking for alternative firmwares for the Behringer FBQ 2496 feedback destroyer when I found a link coming here.

As far as HT goes, due to my other interests, I'm presently more inclined towards a nice set of headphones and a nice stereo soundcard rather than spending the same money on a 5.1 card (and then the implied mountain of related hardware. (...let the Holy Wars begin...)

Anyway, it seems like there are some people around here who are asking the right questions and giving the right sort of answers, so I might just take a bit more of a look around and chime in if I've got something meaningful to add...

I'm sure you'll have plenty meaningful to add and share with us. We've got some guys that are really into headphones hangin' around too. A couple of our mods are headphone junkies.

What are you using the 2496 on?
