My interest is eliminating the over emphasis of bass in most TV and Radio shows. I hear the 'boom' in the sound source before I hear any of the vocals, which may in part be old-age. Also is there logarithmic or equivalent amplifier to help even out commercial sound levels?
I listen internet radio from a PC or Roku. The station I listen to are anything from classical to heavy metal. For video, I use a Roku direct to TV or a Cable box to PC to TV. The TV is a LG 42". No decision on what external video-amp to get so far.
